GUMBOOT FRIDAY INTERACTIVE WEB GAME

After seeing how the lockdown was affecting charities around New Zealand, a group of talented artists, programmers musicians including myself got together to see how we could help. We came up with the idea to run a virtual gumboot throwing competition to support the I AM HOPE charity and Gumboot Friday campaign. The idea was to create an online game that you could play and get your friends and whanau involved across the country. The entire website and game was created in 4 days with the development starting on a Monday and was launched on the Thursday evening ready for Gumboot Friday. This great charity Gumboot Friday setup by I AM HOPE does a fantastic job at raising awareness and money for Kids Mental Health. I am sure everyone will enjoy the game, and remember to donate to a great cause.
